Jill Jackson, MSW, MHP, LSWAIC, a dedicated mental health professional, holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Social Work with a focus on criminal justice from the University of Washington Tacoma campus.
Jill has accumulated a wealth of experience in the mental health field. She served as a social worker for DCYF, specializing in child welfare, followed by a legal advocacy role at a DV agency. Jill collaborates with parents' attorneys to assist clients in navigating the complexities of family court, particularly in cases involving domestic violence.
Jill's expertise lies in child welfare, domestic violence (DV), including intimate partner violence (IPV), and generational family violence issues in parents. She primarily employs Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) tailored to the unique challenges of her clients. Jill is adept at recognizing when clients may benefit from other therapeutic modalities and ensures appropriate referrals for comprehensive care.
