Jessica Pabst
Jessica Pabst, MSW, LICSW, embarked on her journey into mental health with a Bachelor's degree in Human Services from Western Washington University, followed by a Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Tacoma. With a heartfelt commitment to making a difference, Jessica completed an internship with the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
Jessica's career path started by facilitating grief and loss support groups at Bridges, gradually transitioning into a 14-year agency role as a Pediatric Oncology Social Worker. Her invaluable experience includes serving as a Trauma Social Worker in a hospital setting, specializing in trauma, chronic illness, and pediatrics.
Jessica’s therapy focus lies in addressing the needs of women, individuals feeling stuck, and families navigating challenges such as grief and loss, chronic illness, life transitions, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, relationship issues, trauma, and parenting coaching.
Jessica's approach to client care is as diverse as the individuals she serves. While rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy, she takes a multifaceted and eclectic approach tailored to each client's needs. Her modalities include trauma-focused techniques, strengths-based strategies, mindfulness work, internal family systems, behavioral activation, and positive psychology.
For Jessica, success is helping clients feel unstuck and unlocking areas of success, happiness, and joy. She believes every struggle can be overcome, and no challenge should be a barrier to moving forward. Jessica's superpower lies in meeting clients where they are, providing a nonjudgmental space, and taking the time to truly understand them.
Jessica extends her services through Telehealth, ensuring accessibility for clients across Washington. She offers flexible scheduling with evening and weekend availability.
